Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, chief executive officer of DABS, participated in the international conference on attracting investor for investment in the solar energy sector and opening the annual ceremony of the India-Afghanistan regional trade and investment exhibition, under the name of transition towards prosperity in Mumbai, India.
Executive Director of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah , Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure and Technology to the President , Dr. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Minister of Economy, Dr. Mustafa Mastour, Chief Executive Officer of DABS, Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, Ambassador of the United States to Afghanistan, John Bass, Minister of Industry of India, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, US Ambassador in India, National and international traders and other high-ranking of Government from different countries were participated.
The main goal of the trip is to encourage the foreign investors to invest in the power energy sector.
It is worth stating that, the conference was funded by the (USAID) for a day in Mumbai, India, where more than 2000 Afghan, Indian and international participants were present, as well as the three-day exhibition, In order to attract foreign investors in the solar energy sector will be held too.
The purpose of this exhibition is to create business opportunities in the field of solar power, agriculture, health, education, industry, mining and other sectors.
