Members of Central Asia Energy Organization, including electricity officials of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan met in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, where Afghans convinced members of Central Asia Energy Organization to approve membership of Afghanistan for one year as observer and then permanently.
Head of Afghanistan's delegation, CEO of De Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, called the meeting productive, adding that Afghanistan's electricity system would be connected and in consistency with Central Asian countries' electricity systems. Eng. Ghalib said that Afghanistan's permanent membership would make ease electoral trade between Afghanistan and members of Central Asia Energy Organization, calling Afghanistan's membership effective.
