Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, Chief Executive Officer of DABS, met in his office with the officials of World Bank Energy Department.
During this visit, World Bank officials provided detailed information on the feasibility study and the bidding process for the 220 KV transmission lines project (double circuit) from Kajaki to Kandahar and to discuss the timing of the aforementioned issues.
In return Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, Chief Executive Officer of DABS, thanking the World Bank efforts in the field of energy supply and called for an expedited feasibility survey and bidding process for 220 KV transmission line from Kajaki to Kandahar.
It is to be noted that the 220 KV transmission line from Kajaki to Kandahar will be constructed in the form of a double circuit, which will be carried out by the contractor company of 77 Turkish company through the new 100 MW Kajaki device to the Kandahar which is the center of overload.
The two sides also discussed on the work of Naghlu power dam, rehabilitation of Surubi power dam and Daronta Power dam.
