The Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF) meeting was held from 17 to 21 June at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) headquarters in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
David Elzinga ACEF Co-chair and ADB Senior Energy Specialist, Ashok Bhargava Director, Central and West Asia Department, Energy Division, Jennifer Holmgren CEO of LanzaTech, Ruth Yu-Owen, Co-founder, Connected Women and President and CEO, PhilCarbon, Eng.Amanullah Ghalib DABS CEO and Atsushi Najima, President and Managing Director, Nissan Philippines were participated.
The objectives of the meeting were to build impactful partnerships to accelerate the process of changing the way to plan, produce and use clean energy.
Mr. Ghalib spoke about the investment opportunities in the energy sector, Afghanistan as a transit country for electricity and one of the countries in the world that has the most potential for producing electricity from natural resources.
It’s to be noted that Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, Chief Executive Officer of DABS, was also one of the keynote speakers of the Asia Clean Energy Forum.
