In this meeting, both sides discussed on the energizing of 110 KV transmission line Turghundi-Herat to 220 KV transmission line and installing a 125 MWA transformer base to prevent voltage collapse and improve the status of Nooruljahad substation.
Meanwhile, they discussed on the extension of the electricity contract for Herat, Badghis, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul and the four districts of Andkhoe in 2020.
At the outset, Eng. Amanullah Ghalib, Chief Executive Officer of DABS, warmly welcomed them and thanked friendly country Turkmenistan for the regular electricity cooperation.
"It's our duty to provide better electrical services, for quick and better implementation, we use all the facilities, because the energy connectivity is one of the priorities of the Afghan government and plays an important role in building the country's infrastructure.” he said.
He requested acceleration in the work of energizing the 110 KV transmission line Turghundi-Herat to 220 KV transmission line and installing a 125MWA transformer base.
