In Senjed Dara district of Parwan province, fifteen transformer base was inaugurated and practically put into operation.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Fazluddin Ayar, Parwan Governor, Eng. Abdul Wakil Nasseri, Chief Operation Officer of DABS, Abdul Aziz Homayoun Herirood, Representative of Parwan in Wolesi Jirga, Aminullah Shokori, deputy head of the Provincial Council of Parwan, Eng. Nasser Ahmadi, Chief of Parwan Breshna, Wahidullah Tawhidi PR Director and Spokesperson, Khuwaja Rohullah Sediqi, Mayor of Parwan, Parwan Breshna Operation and Commercial Deputies, Parwan Coordination Commander, Parwan Chief of Security, Elders of District and a number of employees were participated.
At the outset, Parwan governor expressed his gratitude from leadership of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat and said “access to electricity is the right of each resident of Parwan and all Parwan's villages, such as Senjed Dara, should be turned light.”
He continued: “We must work together to build our country more prosperous.”
Then, Chief Operation Officer of DABS congratulated the inauguration of fifteen transformer base and said "We are committed to complete the under process projects with the cooperation of people over the next two years."
He also asked the people to cooperate with Breshna in maintaining of electricity equipment.
The above mentioned transformers have different capacities that its total capacity is 2910 KVA.
These transformers have cost about AFN 46 million which is funded by the development budget of DABS.
The work of project took about one year that with inauguration of it, more than 3000 new customers connects to electricity in Senjed Dara area of Parwan province.
It is to be noted that, with the installation and opening of fifteen new transformer base, the number of electricity customers will reaches to 33000 in Parwan province.
