The 20/0.4 distribution network in Bamyan province started on 17 October 2018. With the completion of this project approximately twenty thousand customer, around 43 villages of Bamyan will benefit from electricity.
The contract of this project was signed with the Indian Company Shyama Power and currently 9 percent of the project works are completed.
Bamyan distribution network is one of the major projects of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS).
The project will cost around 24 million USD which is funded by the Asian Development Bank and will be completed on 17 October 2020.
The successful completion of this project will develop the economy, agriculture, industry and provide job opportunities for the residents of Bamyan.
