Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat inaugurate 11 new power towers in Khuwaja Chasht and Deh Yahya villages of Deh Sabz district of Kabul.
Eng. Amanullah Ghaleb, Chief Executive Officer of DABS, said that works on developing of electricity networks in Kabul quickness has continue, "he added," According to our commitment we connected eleven power towers to electricity grid in the Deh Sabz district, I hope with the advent of electricity there will be fundamental changes in the lives of Deh Sabz residents.
Chief Executive Officer of DABS noted in his remarks that the work of Turkmenistan 500 kV project with the capacity of 1000MW has continues in various parts of the Northern provinces and will be completed by the end of next year.
Mr. Ghalib said the problem of electricity shortages in Kabul and most of the provinces will be resolved by entering of the 1000 MW of electricity from Turkmenistan. Meanwhile, Eng. Abdul Ahad Barakzai, the head of Kabul Breshna, said that in addition to completing the unfinished work on electricity projects in the districts, according to a predetermined schedule the construction work of towers in the others district of Kabul has continue.
On the other hand, the elders of Deh Sabz District, while appreciating the attention of DABS Leadership that they will not hesitate to cooperate in protecting the electricity equipment and nd timely payment of electricity.
Deh Sabz eleven Power Tower project was launched in the HAMAL month of 1397 solar year by the Power Construction Unit and completed in the MEZAN month of current year (1398 solar year). The total output capacity of this project is 2110 kV.
It is envisaged to supply electricity from the eleven power tower to 2000 customers and a religious school which has 1000 student.
The eleven power tower has cost more than 42 million Afghanis which is funded by the DABS Development budget.
